Meaning
"Har" means who take away the sorrow of devotee. Lord Shiva is known by many names and Har is a name which is frequently used in "Har Har Mahadev"
Lord Shiva is called by "Mahadev" because they are God of gods and great ones.
They also are known as "Shiv Shankar" which shows, they are auspicious who take away problems.
Lord Shiva is "Aadi Dev" who not have any starting nor any birth. They appear from their wishes, and also they are always there.
"Parameshwar Akhileshwar," says, One who is Almighty God, God of everything in the world.
"Tandav Priye Shashishewar" means One who likes Tandava Dance, who has a moon on the head.
"Viswadhar Vishwanath Gangadhar Dhiranath" means, One who is a reason for the world, who is Lord of Universe, who has Ganga on the head, who is Lord of dheer.
"Jatajuta Chandradhari" means One who has long hair, who adopt the moon on the head. "Dina ke hitakari" means who do the welfare of the poor.
"Gauripati Nandikeshwar" means One who is the husband of Goddess Parvati, who is Lord of Nandi. "Shaileshwar Jagadiswar" means who is Lord of Shailesh, who is Lord of the world.
Benefits
Aarti of Lord Shiva is such that it even benefits by listening only. If one listens aarti everyday then he can focus more on worship and God which eventually improves whole life.
Sins will be erased which done without knowing. You are deeply aware of your Karma.
The mind becomes free from negative effects like anger, lust, ego.
